In short: the tradition gives clear testimonies — a human sign rising, the lord of the eighth afflicting the lord of the Ascendant, a conjunction with Mars, and derivation to identify the office. What they describe is a class of danger to an office. They do not name a person, they do not give a culprit, and a judgement made after the event proves nothing.
