Testing the Animodar: a call for accurate birth times

Most rectification methods cannot be checked. They are applied when the birth time is unknown, and there is nothing to compare the answer against.

The Animodar is an exception, and that is why it is worth a project of its own.

The claim, briefly

Take the new or full moon preceding the birth. Find the planet with most dignity over that degree. Its numerical degree should match, or come close to, the degree of the Ascendant or the Midheaven of the nativity — regardless of sign.

Because it is a numerical claim, it can be inverted: apply it to charts whose times are known to be accurate, and see how often the correspondence occurs. Enough charts, and the answer is statistical rather than anecdotal.

What we need

Birth data with a reliably recorded time — a hospital record, a birth certificate stating the hour, a note made on the day. Children's charts are the best source, because the record is recent and the memory fresh.

What cannot be used: a remembered approximate time, a time rounded to the hour, or a time that has already been rectified by any method. Each would decide the outcome in advance.
