The term tables poll

The terms are one of the five essential dignities, and the sources do not agree on them. The Egyptian table and the Ptolemaic table differ in the degrees they assign, and other versions exist.

A practitioner has to choose, and the choice changes real judgements — a planet in its own term in one table is peregrine in another.

What we are asking

• Which table you use.
• What decided you: an authority, a teacher, testing, or the default in the software — all are real answers.
• Whether you have compared them on the same charts, and what you found.

The comparative table

We have prepared a comparative table of terms, free to download, setting the main versions side by side so the differences can be seen at a glance. It is worth having whatever you conclude.
